Locked In with Ian Bick

Raw, unfiltered stories from inside the justice system

Sponsored our conference in

Locked In with Ian Bick is a long-form interview podcast built on a simple idea: let people tell their own stories, in their own words, without the edits that usually flatten them. Host Ian Bick sits down with formerly incarcerated people, law enforcement officers, prosecutors and defense attorneys, investigators, and families, covering federal cases, life inside, addiction and recovery, and what reentry actually asks of a person.

Ian's own path runs through the same system. He opened a nightclub in Danbury, Connecticut at eighteen, booking national acts before he was old enough to drink in his own venue. At twenty-one the business collapsed into debt and a gambling addiction, he was convicted of federal wire fraud, and he served three years in federal prison. He came home at twenty-four and spent nearly three years working ordinary jobs, rebuilding relationships and learning firsthand what a record does to a job application, before he ever picked up a microphone.

He launched the show in January 2023. It has since grown into one of the fastest-growing justice-focused podcasts in the country, with hundreds of episodes and an audience across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, TikTok, and Instagram. Alongside the show, Ian speaks at prisons, schools, recovery programs, and reentry organizations, and runs a full-service studio and content production company.

The White Collar Support Group is grateful to Ian Bick for sponsoring our conference, and for building a platform where the people this system touches are heard rather than summarized.
