Justice in every borough
The Legal Aid Society is built on one simple but powerful belief: that no New Yorker should be denied the right to equal justice. It provides free legal representation to low-income New Yorkers, and its motto, justice in every borough, reflects a presence across all five boroughs.
Its criminal defense practice defends accused and incarcerated people and helps them move forward through wrongful conviction, clemency, and record-sealing work, while its reform efforts challenge mass incarceration and perpetual punishment through impact litigation and policy advocacy.
We are deeply grateful to The Legal Aid Society for its tireless pursuit of justice and for supporting the mission of the White Collar Support Group.
