The Fortune Society's mission is to support successful reentry from incarceration and promote alternatives to incarceration, thus strengthening the fabric of our communities. Since its founding, Fortune has grown into a "one-stop shop" that serves thousands of people with justice involvement each year.
Through employment services, education, housing, health care, mental health and substance use treatment, family services, and the creative arts, Fortune helps people rebuild their lives and thrive as positive, contributing members of society. Their work reflects a simple, powerful belief: that people are capable of change, and that everyone deserves the chance to come home and begin again.
