Building Power With Directly-Impacted People

The Center for Community Alternatives supports and builds power with people across New York State who have been affected by mass incarceration, criminalization, and community disinvestment. Through a statewide network of direct services, advocacy, and organizing, and by centering the leadership of directly-impacted people, CCA works to advance civil and human rights for all New Yorkers.

Its programs span court support and alternatives to incarceration, reentry, housing, employment and career training, youth leadership, treatment and recovery, and trauma recovery, alongside legislative campaigns to end mass incarceration. The through-line is a belief in a world where everyone has what they need to thrive.

The White Collar Support Group is grateful to the Center for Community Alternatives for its steadfast commitment to reintegration and second chances, and for walking this path alongside the people we serve.
