Our January 2026 Tuesday Night Speaker Series was a presentation on personal online reputation management with Drew Chapin.

The presentation, which was open to all, took place via Zoom on January 20, 2026 at 7 PM ET (4 PM PT). It’s available in its entirety here:

About Online Reputation Management for the Justice-Impacted

For many, the hardest part of reentry is overcoming negative personal search results. The impacts are far-reaching and can negatively impact a person’s chances at getting a job, securing housing, or even just participating in community activities.

This session, which was designed for justice-impacted people, family members, lawyers and other professionals, explains how online search works, how to acknowledge the past without allowing your online footprint to define you, and how to take practical, low-cost steps to rebuild your online reputation so you can be in control of your online narrative.

Chapin shared how to remove Personally Identifiable Information from search, how to remove public court records from search results, and what can be done about government press releases related to your case. In short, this session was built to help Google see who you are now, not who you were then.
